About Me

My name is Shor-T & I call myself Omaha's Hardest Working Female DJ. Anyone can challenge that claim, no problem. I'm a Hip-Hop Junkie - even though I don't look like I would be. I'm a DJ & I spin mostly Hip-Hop and R&B, & I LOVE my old school. I am the First Lady of the Hot 107 All-Star DJs, & still the only female radio mixshow DJ in Omaha. You may remember me from the Old School Hot Lunch on Hot 107.7/97.3. If you miss me, call 561-1069 & tell em! I'm a two-time Omaha Entertainment Award nominee & Midwest Entertainment Award winner for best DJ. You may have heard me spin at MANY different clubs in Omaha & a couple in Lincoln.

My Interests

I love music, and I love being a DJ. People always ask me if it's hard being a female DJ. Not really! Once I prove that I know what I'm doing, I get nothing but support. I also try and travel as much as possible. I'll take any reason to get outta Nebraska.

I'm cool with meeting just about anyone. I love to meet people in the world of Hip-Hop, whether you're a DJ, an emcee, a graffiti artist, dancer, producer, promoter, fan, etc...

Music:

I stay open-minded about music, but basically, since the age of ten, with no influence but me, and a little help from MTV - I've always loved and will always love Hip-Hop.

Movies:

Goodfellas, Scarface, Friday, Napolean Dynamite, Fight Club, Boyz in the Hood, The Color Purple, Christmas Vacation, Coming to America, Anchorman...the list is too long. I do quote movies all the time and I love it when people know what the hell I'm talking about.
