Mister Reality is a comedy that centers around a young man who will do anything to be with his high school sweetheart. He pursues her out to Hollywood, gets used by his new roommates, REJECTS NEWLY FOUND fame and fortune, and ironically, gets pursued by his girlfriend back to the countryside.Kickapoo, Alabama native Melvin Higgins was set to propose to his high school sweetheart, Andrea Lynne, when she tells him that she is leaving the small town to pursue a movie career in Hollywood!A cat and mouse game pursues. Arriving in Hollywood with his pet pig (Oscar), little money, and no contacts, Melvin befriends an actor (Travis), an unemployed entrepeneur (Lane), and a couch potato (Dumptruck) who give him a sweet rental deal on an oversized closet! It’s obvious that Melvin’s new buddies have other plans while he’s searching for his true love, Andrea.Meanwhile Andrea, UNAWARE THAT MELVIN HAS FOLLOWED HER OUT TO LA, has her own adventures living with her obnoxious actress third cousin, Erica, in liberal West Hollywood. Andrea thinks her dream has come true when Erica invites her to a toothpaste audition. However, during the audition, Andrea is put on the infamous casting couch and she suddenly realizes that Hollywood is not as glorious as she thought it would be.This hilarious story begins to unfold as the theme becomes apparent: Just as long as you’re with the right person, then you’re in the right place!
