Buddy & the Bums, Toad Stone, Cold Ember, Blackhouse, Tucker, Smokin' Okie, Singletree, & finally (SLIDEBAR). These are the groups that kept me busy for the last 40 years. Slidebar has worked with over 70 major label acts (including Garth Brooks, Merle Haggard & Brad Paisley) and has played in the biggest honky tonks in the United States and Canada. It was more fun than the average person should be allowed to have. Thanks to all the members that drifted in and out, but especially Lyle Parman who kept the music kickin' with his heavy handed leads.
