About Me

Hello there, I am in the middle of a big fight with cancer. I have Primary Peritoneal Carcinoma or in non-medical terms...cancer of the lining of the abdomen. This is a rare and deadly form of cancer because it normally isn't found until the end stages and I was found out on a fluke. Through this whole experience I have been surrounded by incredible family and friends who have been an enormous help and support. Cancer is not the end of the world...nor is it the worst thing that will ever happen to you. Surround yourself with uplifting people...leave the negative ones on your road of life and keep walking.

I love traveling and complements of Uncle Sam was able to live overseas for a number of years. I can speak enough Turkish and German to get me in trouble.
I've got the cutest and smartest grandkids out there...I am very blessed!!!
2004...best year ever...Red Sox win the World Series and I was in Boston when they won 4 straight games and took the Pennent against the Hated NY Yankees. You could hear the screaming up and down the street we were on! It was magic and if we hadn't won the series that win against NY would have kept us New Englanders warm for many a long winter's night!
