DJ Keutch s fondness for MK2s dates back to many years ago now. He started to mix the Techno and Booty Bass tracks he buys in Belgium, where he studied advertising. With selections influenced by DJs like Dave Clarke or DJ Assault for Booty, he played at private and club parties where he improved his technique and his capacity to set dance floors on fire. Then, after he finished college, he took an interest in a new musical genre and became a drumnbass fanatic. He started his collection as a follower of artists such as Hype, the True Playaz Crew, or DJ Zinc, then progressively evolved along different currents of the movement: people such as Liquid Funk, Rollin, and Jump Up sounds in particular.Ten years of experience enabled him to rapidly adapt to the broken beats inherent in this music to progressively develop great technical skills. After he was spotted by DJ Rom1 in 2001, he performed at his first major event, the Dour music festival, in front of 2000 people. He then toured notorious venues - usually playing back to back with DJ Rom1 such as Rex, Tryptique and Batofar in Paris, Splendid in Lille (for the Printemps de Bourges festivals artists pre-selection), Plata Forma in Barcelona, Grand Mix in Tourcoing, Kultuur Kafé in Brussels, Decadance in Ghent Keutch also played alongside many famous artists such as: Marky, DJ Craze, Terry T, Demolition Man, Peshay, Fresh, Brookie, Fabio, and more recently Clipz, Ruffstuff, MC Krayz B, Hazard, Pendulum, Shimon, Elisa do Brasil, DJ Vadim, Jamalski, and Big Red at Unity nights.Now a resident at the Nuit de lArchi (an annual party of 2000), and at the monthly DrunnGrass nights at Détour, DJ Keutch showed impressive technical skills as well as a remarkable fluidity in his mixes, and was spotted by a number of DJs over the last few years. He started producing recently. He is a rising star of the French scene, and is promised to a brilliant future.
