About Me

My name is Jenn and I am one of the most wonderful, kind, caring, supportive and above all modest people you will ever meet. LOLOK, ok, seriously...I have a passion for life and believe in having fun whenever possible. I am serious about the responsibilities I have, but why not make things fun when you can? I am a single mom, I live in Chesterfield, Missouri a suburb of St. Louis. I have a fat cat and a loyal dog. Both of my kids tell me to grow up all the time (you know, act like a mom should...never really figured that one out since I am a mom and I act like I think I should act) - but they also tell me I am the coolest mom they know. My daughter is 14 and way too pretty for my own good and my son is 12 and quickly becoming the man of the house. I work for an IT consulting company also located in Chesterfield. Computer geek by day - Metal goddess by night!! I love hockey - especially the Blues and I have become a recent football fan since my son's team (who I am the Business Manager and Secretary for) had a terrific undefeated season in 2007. I really like to read too - mostly sci-fi, murder mysteries, serial killers and anything to do with Vampires but I have been know to branch out and read other things from time to time if they are interesting. I am also very into music. I will listen to anything except country - really can't stand the twang of all of that. Two of my favorite groups of all time are Motley Crue and Queensryche followed closely here lately by SIXX AM. I also enjoy almost anything 80's hair metal and a guilty pleasure I have is a love of Neil Diamond. I have loved him since I was a kid and I guess it's like they say - some things never change. I also read comics and evidently I am Catwoman...yeah, I guess that fits...Your results:

You are The Empress

Beauty, happiness, pleasure, success, luxury, dissipation.

The Empress is associated with Venus, the feminine planet, so it represents, beauty, charm, pleasure, luxury, and delight. You may be good at home decorating, art or anything to do with making things beautiful.

The Empress is a creator, be it creation of life, of romance, of art or business. While the Magician is the primal spark, the idea made real, and the High Priestess is the one who gives the idea a form, the Empress is the womb where it gestates and grows till it is ready to be born. This is why her symbol is Venus, goddess of beautiful things as well as love. Even so, the Empress is more Demeter, goddess of abundance, then sensual Venus. She is the giver of Earthly gifts, yet at the same time, she can, in anger withhold, as Demeter did when her daughter, Persephone, was kidnapped. In fury and grief, she kept the Earth barren till her child was returned to her.

My Interests

Animal welfare causes - I volunteer at local shelters to try and get animals placed in good homes. Thank God I don't live somewhere with a lot of space or the good home they are placed in would be mine...but then I could have a second income charging admission as a petting zoo!I also volunteer at my chruch through various ministries. Left religion for a long time, but came back to the church a few years ago and found my place - so to speak. Also interested in any and all things involving vampires. Yeah, Yeah, I know it really goes along well with the whole Church thing, but I am an enigma wrapped in a conundrum. Vampires have been a life long facination - still waiting to meet my prince of darkness and become immortal...or a least have a damned good time.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who can hold my interest for more than 5 minutes...like the people in the following videos and ads...OR someone who would be willing to get married in a cemetary at night. Not that I want to get married, I just think if you would be open to that concept you could probably hold my interest for more than 5 minutes! Saints of Los Angeles

Books:

The Heroin Diaries by Nikki Sixx...incredible if you have not read it do it now...I mean it!! It will change your life.Anything by Stephen King. Anything pertaining to Vampires or serial killers. James Patterson, Patricia Cornwell, Thomas Harris, Anne Rice, Laurell Hamilton, Jim Butcher and Christopher Moore are good too.As with the movies, if something dies, blows up and/or bleeds a lot, I want to read about it in detail. The best is when there is a twisted SOB doing the killing and getting away with it (fiction - of course) that is awesome...the more demented, descriptive and sick the better.

Heroes:

My grandma - she was an amazing woman who taught me a lot and kept me out of a lot of trouble. I miss her everyday.Anyone who helps kids and animals. Not enough can be said for the selfless acts these people do everyday.
