Too many to list, let's just say anything that helps feed my mind, soul, better my out look on life and smile and laugh.
I'd like to meet:
I like meeting people that are not just into themselves. I prefer substance over quantity so shiny things don't get me starry eyed.
Can't stand fake people, liars or drama kings/queens. If you have to destroy others to build yourself up then, keep walking.
I detest being judged so I refuse to judge others. Everyone comes as a blank book and their actions and words are what fill the pages that describe who they are and can be.
Basically I like meeting people that have common sense, goals and that respect others and as well as themselves.
Music:
Eclectic... From Otis, Michael Buble, Etta, Ella, Frank S., Tony B., Kitaro, Funk, Jazz, Reggae, RnB, Salsa, Merengue, House, Techno, country, Rock N Roll, etc. You name it I probaly have heard it or have it.
I believe everyone can find at least a piece of themselves in the composition of songs, whether it be in the lyrics or the beat.
Movies:
Suicide Kings, Dead Poet's Society, Philadelphia, Second Hand Lions, The 5 people you meet in heaven, Troy, When Harry Met Sally, Sleepless in Seattle, Saving Private Ryan, You've got mail, Scarface, Casino, Godfather 1-3, X-men, Mobsters, (original) Carlito's Way, Phantasm, Disclosure, A Lot Like Love, etc. I dont have time to get out much but I love movies.
Television:
Law and Order and all its' spin-offs, House, Nightline, My Name is Earl, Countdown with Keith Oberman, MSNBC, Real Time with Bill Mahr and unbeliveably also (because you must get all points of views) Fox news.
Books:
New Rules: Polite Musings from a Timid Observer by Bill Maher, Against All Enemies: Inside America's War on Terror by Richard A. Clarke. Next up is "The Scorpion's Gate" by Richard A. Clarke or My Life by Bill Clinton.
Heroes:
My mother for showing me how to be a better daughter and woman. My grandmother (RIP) and my nieces for showing me what unconditional love is and that beauty is found everywhere in life specially how to find it in me.
And finally, the man that showed me that love is not a fleeting feeling but exists for a lifetime. Because of him I learned that I do deserve and have had an unconditonal and real love and more importantly he showed me to never live within the grasp of "What if..." No.77, he knows who he is and that for him I will always wish he finds real and "unconditional love within the petals of Roses."
My grandparents... RIP grandma, I Miss You So Much
