The songs available are demos of what will later be recorded by a full band.
Formed in 2003, Opacus was originally a solo effort with minimal external influences. Creating raw yet atmospheric black metal. Since creation there have been 3 records released by a solo Opacus.
2004 – Unholy Darkness (Demo) 2005 – Through The Clear Is Thy Despair (EP) 2005 – Cries From The Dungeon (Split with Morgus)
Mort and Morgorloff were added to the line-up to take positions on bass and drums in 2005, at which point live shows were performed between late 2005 and late 2006. Now in 2007 Opacus has a full line-up with new members and currently writing new material ready for live performances and studio recordings in 2008.
