About Me

(All photos copyrighted by Barb Dye except as noted) I *LOVE* all styles of music but am extremely fond of "old" metal, i.e., Motley Crue, Metallica, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi. I managed local metal bands Uncle RIP, Riot Act, Jesteel, Friction, and Shards of Seven, and work closely now with Rightfully Accused and country singer Jim Cabral. I am a free-lance booking agent currently booking Eck's Saloon (Lakewood, CO) with original bands (all styles) on Tuesday nights. I love to dance. I sing and play 14 different instruments including piano and oboe but my favorite is the drums and percussion instruments of all kinds.

As above: All styles but *LOVE* old metal, and anything that is danceable.

Movies:

I'm a "chic" movie fan but also enjoy "musical-type" movies, i.e., That Thing You Do; Back Beat; Dance With Me; Singing in the Rain; Wedding Singer, etc.

Television:

American Idol; Nashville Star; Colgate Country Showdown; Dancing w/t Stars; So You Think You Can Dance; Rock Star; music videos of all types including Spanish language videos.

Books:

Mysteries, i.e., Perry Mason. Also any music business related books like They Fought the Law...; How to Make Your Living in the Music Business, etc. And books on costuming like Bob Mackie's books.

Heroes:

Brian Epstein, the Beatles' first manager.
