Oshinoko Bunker Orchestra formed in Florence in 2003.
A New project made up of two thirds of De Glaen, an unorthodox rock band active since the mid 90s.
Two CDs published, the first one self-produced, distributed by Flying Rec. (De Glaen 1996), the second one produced by Cockney/Sony (De Glaen 1998); more than 200 concerts all over Italy and beyond, several tv and radio appearances, three videos and various remixes (Marco L. Lega and Paolo Favati) and a tour with the Bolognese writer Enrico Brizzi with the Sub-booteo experience-project (summer of 1997); all this represents the history of the group up to the Summer of 2000.
After three years of silence this brand new project starts.
Evermore unorthodox.Still about rock.
Still talking about visceral tensions.
The first record is a debut recording with Anti Dot, an independent label based in Florence that has already published the intriguing debut works of Bobby Tumultous and Zenerswoon (co-produced with Stoutmusic).
Recorded and mixed by Sonic Saboteur at Bunker in Florence. Energetic, minimal, nervous rock, at times psychotic, while searching obsessively for repeating sounds and noises An almost total lack of melodies or anything that resembles themIntense and never banal sounds
