Not the children of the revolution

About Me

Formed back at 2002, SideFields were always about finding the truth and then redifining it. The first few songs Itay was writing before he started playing with other people were everything but the logical thing to do, surrounded by the realms of electronic sounds of the 90's, post grunge and tons of boybands around. still he was dreaming of achieving a relevant and up to date indie pop sound, an ambition he hasn't given up intil this day. Wether it was Johnny Marr or Jim & William Ried, Inerpol or The Jam, he was always exploring the mystery behind the sounds & the visions, hoping that one day he would be the owner of such mystery himself. After struggling for stability with a chain of passing members, it was clear to him that his long time friend Vic had to come in. Back then, Vic was a physics student in Haifa and still untutured an uneperienced as a musician. But it was his passion, dedication (and killer sex appeal) that pushed him trough the barrier of becoming the true and genuine bass player for the band. Backed by the steady beats and rocking spirit of Nir Wetzstein, They have recorded a self titled debut E.P, soon to be launched, and continued performing throughout Israel. At the beginning of 2007 the band relocated to London, to head a new way and seek further challenges and views, about music and life in general, while still trying to find a loving and worthy home for the E.P.Mail us at [email protected]
