At 21 Years Old, Rob Wall is one of the youngest full time drum kit teachers in the country. Gaining strong reviews from the local media; Rob has successfully taught at schools all over West Wiltshire & Somerset; as well as private tuition at his family home in Dilton Marsh.
Rob has built up a strong list of pupils who he has seen through graded examinations obtaining a 100% Merit/Distinction pass rate whilst successfully stamping his mark as one of the most in demand drum tutors in the South West.
Rob has been playing drums for 10 years, and ever since he first picked up a pair of sticks he new it was his calling. Completing Grade Eight Distinction across all Drum Kit & Percussion Exam Boards, whilst recently enrolling as a member of the Musicians Union and the National Association of Percussion Teachers.
Rob has been fortunate enough to have played with many artists in many different styles. Spending years perfecting sight reading & performing many gigs/concerts with Classical Orchestras, Jazz Ensembles, Rock Groups and more recently Latin/World music. Becoming as versatile a player as possible; whilst gaining the opportunity to play to large audiences at some great venues.
Currently based and working in Central London, Rob takes private tuition when possible. In his first year in London, Rob has met world famous New Orleans Drummer Stanton Moore, James Blunt/Will Young's Drummer Carl Brazil and attended many clinics and open jazz nights in the heart of the London Jazz Circuit. Currently gigging and playing in Rock band Cosmo Jones and completing sessions for artists such as Camille and Jennie Saunders.
Rob's teaching specialises in independence, advanced co-ordination, Moeller Technique, Graded Study, Clinician Studies, Jazz/Funk/Latin/Rock/Fusion Music and Contemporary methods of tuition.
