First appearing on the Angular record's "New Cross" compilation and again in "Rip Off Your Labels", voted best compilation 2004 by the NME, before releasing their own "Childhood Gang Reunion" EP in 2005.

We are gifthorse. We write songs about: being thrown out of libraries, never ever being asked to dance, boys with their heads stuck in railings, hopeless infatuation, the romance and glamour of chip-pan fires, the loneliness of long-term retail employment, unromantic rooftops, the Sexodrome... People say we sound like: Morrissey, Pulp, The Auteurs, early Suede, The Magic Numbers, Elvis Costello (we neither confirm nor deny these accusations).
