About Me

what is it ? spoken word? rap? folk? indie? truth is all these labels could be used when describing catholyric's unique sound.a lot of catholyric's genre defying style comes from his wide variety of influences ranging from lyracists like bob dylan, and leonard cohen to modern day song poets such as eminem and the libertines aswell as writers as diverse as john donne, edger allen poe, Charles Bukowski and Louis Macniece.Catholyric is currently working towards a full length album with musical collabarater, rising alt country star, dan hartland. Whats to be expected from the yet to be titled LP, nobody knows. The only thing we can be sure of is with catholyric's words and dan hartlands melody it will be one of the most unique and mesmorising uk albums to be released in years.
