...the fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need...

About Me

Things I like: Newcastle Brown Ale. Music on various mediums, of various styles. MySpace. Unspoken word-filled silences (of the pleasant variety). Books. Intellectual discourse (faux or otherwise). Drumming for Kingscastle. Spitting on Craig whilst drumming. Making angry faces at work. Sushi. Pogs. Standing in the shower, thinking. Gin and tonic. Commas...and elipsees. Boxers with buttons. Touring. In-class filibustering.

Things I don't like: Spontaneous combustion. A busy mall on beautiful days. The cancellation of Arrested Development. more to come...

You.

The Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Mulholland Drive. Reservoir Dogs. Pulp Fiction. Bamboozled. Swingers. Requiem For A Dream. Crash. The Big Lebowski...many, many more...if you like it' I've probably seen it or own it...except 80's movies, and it's not that I don't like them but (much to the derision of many of my peers) I haven't seen many...saw parts of The Breakfast Club...parts of Ferris Beuller...all of Fast Times...that's about it...feel free to boo and throw things.

Television:

Family Guy. Seinfeld. 24. The Office. Arrested Development.

Books:

I own tons of books...literally, tons...and not "tons" in terms of its actual meaning, meaning 2000 pounds (actually, we'll go with 4000, as tonS would signify plurality, but "tons" in terms of it's more popular usage like "OH MY GOD, I got so wasted and threw up a ton last night!" (Though I will say that that example was pretty ambiguous, as what does "ton" refer to? An actual TON of vomit, or more than just a little bit? I'm an asshole for not being clear enough.)But the aformentioned tonage of books...not going to lie kids, they're mostly half read, as my general method of reading consists of getting to, well, the book's half-way point and moving on to something else...I might have ADD...I also read magazines from the back cover towards the front (unless I come upon a story I want to read, but I'd guess you know what happens there).I have read many-a-book the entire way through...woo, self high-five for that one...the whole English teacher thing sort of dictates that I enjoy reading...and I do...to proportions of immensity (which is one of those fake real ((or is it real fake?)) words that "tons" of important people use...like the President!).

Heroes:

Be your own hero.

My Blog
