I've watched two soaps since I've been a kid, started watching them with my Grandmother - As The World Turns and Guiding Light. I only watch them a couple of times a week to keep up with what's going on in Oakdale and Springfield.I watch way too much TV-but I think that was partly due to the depression - it helped distract me from the pain.
Books:
Anything by: Margaret Attwood, Anne Tyler (like her older stuff better), Catherine Cookson, Thomas Hardy, Tennessee Williams (his plays),Pat Conroy, Truman Capote, Steinbeck, I used to be a huge fan of Stephen King, but either I outgrew him or his newer stuff stinks.
Heroes:
Audrey Hepburn, Elizabeth I, Bouddica, my husband,, my kids.
