I'm a busy bee.
I'm in grad school getting my MS-ed degree in secondary education English (Teaching high school English? Yes. Glutton for punishment). I'm a member of a writing ensemble called Speak'Easy made up of a whole bunch of slam poets and directed by some guy named Marc Smith (So What). I do participate in "the poetry slam" from time to time. I'm an ensemble member of a brand new theatre company (Promethean Theatre Ensemble), and I teach Shakespeare to 8-18 year old girls with a not-for-profit called The Viola Project. When I'm not doing any of those things, I'm either sleeping, getting ready to do one of those things, scribbling in a coffee shop, or drinking beer. I like shiny objects, the White Sox, and The Muppet show. Your suspicions are correct. I am a Huge Dork. I would love long walks along the beach, but I have no sense of direction and am afraid I'd get lost.
