About Me

The band was founded in the summer of 2003 in Turku, Finland, but the actual training and composing began in the summer of 2004. Stvro the drummer entered this humble ship in the fall of 2004 , but it didn't work out like we wanted so... but Stvro still has a special place in our hearts. CandyAndy is our most recent drummer and C.A. can be seen on live shows behind the kit and can be heard on the albums. We do politics through humour. We do not encourage racism in any way, we just don't like it and we sure in hell do not want people to think we would. Don't let the name and the accent fool you. VenÃ¤lÃ¤inen Sivuprojekti means "russian sideproject" in english, so that's why we get people upset pretty easily. VenÃ¤lÃ¤inen Sivuprojekti is one of the pioneers of mixing hump-music and pop/rock together and has received credit for doing it. We are intending to make rock and r 'n' b centered world open their eyes for "different" music again and by supporting us, you can be a part of it too. Thank you all, enjoy the hair!
