Liam Denison Life As I Know It

About Me

I guess it all started from when my big brother went to secondary school and decided to learn the guitar. I remember the first time i picked his guitar up, he left it in his bedroom, i walked in and saw it laying there with a copy of "Fields Of Gold" under it. I picked it up, followed the drawing of how to play the chords, and that was it i was hooked. I fell in love with the sound there and then, which was quite different to the sound of a trumpet, which had been my love for six years at school. I Started Campion in 1997, and began taking a few lessons. Unfortunatley My guitar teacher left, but he did teach me to have cofidence on the stage, and be able to sing, he always liked my voice. So thanx Joe.I recieved an award for two of my songs which i submitted as GCSE pieces which was a huge confidence boost. I left school not knowing what i wanted to do.My parents have always believed in me, they paid for my first studio session, i gave a copy to my mate Tony, and he pushed everything from there. I owe him alot if all this takes off one day, he's helped me so much, he's pushed me into gigging.I have to thank Andy too, (my Producer), what he's done already with the songs are amazing, so i can't wait to hear what he does when we have more time to work together, really looking forard to it.Someone has always been honest with me, if they dont like a particular song they'll tell me, and i cannot take criticism well, even if it is constructive. My girlfriend Jamie gives me confidence and inspiration every time i see her. She makes me chase all my dreams, i just hope i'll catch this one.Cheers
