Random things I read A LOT so I'm into art, quantum physics, making lame videos on YouTube, hiking (mostly in NZ) hmmm... dunno.
I'm really into photography and LOVE Dan Eldon. He was a war photographer who took tons of pictures of Africa and was killed by an angry mob when he was only 23. Crazy, huh? I'd like to be like him someday (except for the dying part :)
Music:
Fiona Apple, Tori Amos, Amie Mann, ummm old stuff my parents play lol. A lot of people have been recommending music to me...I really like Lilly Allen, Imogen Heap, MAUF, Something For Rockets, Jacqueline Nassar
... ya so keep the suggestions coming :)
Movies:
I don't watch much TV or movies. But I do love Napoleon Dynamite, The Notebook, Wizard of Oz. Old comedies like Laurel and Hardy and the Marx Brothers (yes, my parents influence! I'm such a dork)
Television:
Family Guy...I've seen lots of clips on YouTube...the dog is soooo cute.
Books:
I LOVE to read! science, photography...The Journey Is the Destination: The Journals of Dan Eldon. but listing a bunch of books is boring so here's a poem by E. E. Cummings:
anyone lived in a pretty how town
(with up so floating many bells down)
spring summer autumn winter
he sang his didn't he danced his did
Women and men(both little and small)
cared for anyone not at all
they sowed their isn't they reaped their same
sun moon stars rain
A poem from my friend Hyemew
What best I see I see in Bree-
Lovely to the last degree.
And ever innocent as June-
From her genius delight is hewn.
With nothing but her speech and face,
To all she brings such wit and grace.
Yet mystery pervades her heart,
While answers others will not impart. She rises softly as a star,
To someplace new, however far.
Then again her words to joy she'll bond-
And then endear the shore beyond..
My friend Fowad wrote this poem & thought it was really great:
OPEN UP YOUR WINDOW AND SEE WHAT YOU CAN FIND,
SO MUCH INFORMATION TO EDUCATE YOUR MIND.
OPEN UP YOUR WINDOW IT WILL MAKE YOU LAUGH AND CRY,
BRING A SMILE TO YOUR FACE AND A TEAR TO YOUR EYE.
OPEN UP YOUR WINDOW AND ONE DAY YOU WILL SEE,
THERE NEVER WAS A WINDOW JUST A GIRL NAMED BREE.
Heroes:
Richard Feynman he's so cool! :)
My friend Kyle! He's been so supportive and stuck by me through everything. Here's an amazing poem he wrote for me:
/p)
My darling Bree,
How I love thee!
Truly I do, I do;
And though life is busy,
Still you hang with me,
Our friendship ever renewed.
You've not been forgotten,
Forsaken, nor taken
For granted for all that you are:
Amazing and loving,
Alluring, enthralling;
Bree, you're my morning star.
I thank you again
For being my friend,
Tested, tried, and true.
This one thing remember:
Now and forever,
My dear, I'll always love you.
