About Me

When South Dakota banned abortion, we lost more than our rights. We lost a basic faith most of us grew up with: that our leaders have our best interests at heart.

But did we sit back and take it? Not a chance! We've been in the streets, talking to neighbors, holding rallies, collecting signatures, fighting back. We need your help — are you with us?

Take action!! Put us in your Top 8 and be a Friend of South Dakota Women!

Are you with us? Support Planned Parenthood.

Put this banner on your MySpace page! Copy and paste this code into your 'About Me' section:
Stop the ban — Host a party!

Put a comment on your friends' pages! Copy and paste this text into their 'Add Comment" box:
Hey- Planned Parenthood is having house parties to help keep the abortion ban in South Dakota from going into effect. You should host one!

I think this is really important. The South Dakota ban has no exception for rape or incest, and they're trying to use it as the case that will overturn Roe v. Wade. We can't let them trample on our rights!

Hi,Voters in South Dakota are about to decide the fate of the state abortion ban passed earlier this year. Planned Parenthood is organizing house parties across the country to help raise awareness and much-needed funds to beat the ban on election day.Sign up to host or attend a party on StandUpSD.com!The ban has no exception for rape or incest, and they're trying to use it as the case that will overturn Roe v. Wade.More than 10 other states are considering similar laws. They're all looking at what happens in South Dakota. We have to stop it before it spreads to more states--and before it reaches the Supreme Court.Everyone needs to do what they can! This is a fun way to make a real difference.Thanks!P.S.
