VOX At Rollins College

I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

This page has been designed for the Vox group at Rollins College. UCF has one, so I figured Rollins needed one, too. Here is a sample mission statement so you can get a feel for what we're all about: MISSION: Vox: Voices for Planned Parenthood of Rollins College exists to educate the university community about reproductive health and rights, to translate increased awareness into pro-choice activism on campus, and to serve as a coalition partner to state, national, and international reproductive rights efforts.Vox: Voices for Planned Parenthood at Rollins College believes in the fundamental right of every individual to manage his or her fertility. Vox supports full access to comprehensive reproductive and complementary health care services in settings that preserve and protect the essential privacy and rights of each individual; advocates public policies that guarantee these rights and ensure access to such services; and supports access to medically accurate educational programs that enhance understanding of human sexuality.

Students Speak Out What is Vox®? Vox is the Latin word for "voice" and Vox: Voices for Planned Parenthood is a nationwide program to energize and mobilize the new generation of pro-choice Americans. Vox aims to educate and inspire a new generation of young adults to advocate reproductive freedom.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

People who think the current state of affairs is disgusting and disreputable. People who are not afraid to speak out. People who will come to VOX meetings at Rollins College. Bands that will play benefit concerts for free. Companies that will donate goods/services for our cause. Generally good, smart activists.VOX IS NOW ON MYSPACE! MySpace addicts rejoice! Now that Vox has just launched its brand new profile, "I Lost My Rights in South Dakota" you can use your social network to drive social change. The MySpace page is a great place to network with other campus activists, get information, and make your voices heard! Join the movement and become a Friend of South Dakota Women today and don't forget to tell all your friends. Visit www.myspace.com/standwiththestates to add us as a friend.
