Born January 31, 1980 in Baltimore, Maryland, to Raymond Leroy Woodson Jr. and Geraldine Michelle Ridgley, Elder Thomas Wesley Ridgley, III is the eldest of five children, however he was raised by his aunt Elder Yvonne Hayward and was educated in the Baltimore City Public School system graduating from the Baltimore School for the Arts as a Vocal Performance Major.At the age of 9 he gave his life to Christ and was baptized of water and of the Spirit at the New Elizabeth Baptist Church under the pastorate leadership of the late Reverend David Boyd. Thomas took his walk with the Lord very serious at a young age. It was there that he realized his love and anointing for music, which compelled him to join the choir.He later joined Adonai Ministries under the pastorate leadership of Bishop Michael J. Evans when it was birthed in March of 1997. Elder Ridgley was appointed by his Bishop to the office of Director of Music at that time. Realizing that G-d had a greater purpose for him that went beyond just the Music Ministry and after trying to avoid and rebel against the call of G-d, Thomas responded to the call with a YES in June of 1999 after a message preached by his Bishop titled; "It's Time to Grow Up." He realized that he had to come out from among the world and be separated for the sake of Christ. He then ministered his Initial Sermon on September 26, 1999 titled "It's Time to be broken" and later was elevated and ordained an Elder on January 25, 2004. In August of 2004, Thomas was lead of the L-rd to assist his Twin in the Spirit Bishop Lionel A. Venable in the birthing of the Kingdom Cathedral Worship Ecclesia located in Washington, DC.Realizing the importance and urgency of his calling and purpose, G-d let him know through the word in Jeremiah 1:5 ";Before I formed thee in the Belly I knew thee; and before thou camest out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations." Knowing that obedience is better then sacrifice Elder Ridgley has accepted his full responsibility in G-d taking his purpose in Christ very serious. Showing full proof of the scripture in Isaiah 61:1-3 "The Spirit of the L-rd G-d is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek . . . . . . . to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the L-RD, that he might be glorified." Elder Ridgley currently serves as Senior Pastoral Assistant/Master of Ceremonies/House Prophet at the Kingdom Cathedral Worship Ecclesia in Washington, DC under the Pastorate leadership of Bishop Lionel A. Venable.Elder Ridgley is known to flow under a very unique and unusual three-fold Prophetic, Evangelistic and Teacher anointing. He is also gifted as a Psalmist, but he would rather be known as a servant because he is a man of conviction. Likened unto David, a man with a passion for praise and worship, Elder Ridgley possesses a mantle of prayer, which he effectively uses for the edification of the body of Christ. Surely, this man of character has been anointed by God to pray until yokes are destroyed, to praise until heaven opens, and to worship until lives are literally transformed in the presence of the Lord. His favorite scripture, “Pray without ceasing,” has become his bread and water, for without it, he would cease to live.He receives mentorship from his Prophetic Father Elder Gary Leslie-Smith II. He also has three God Children Heather Flanagan, Minister Deanta Hayes and Jr. Elder- elect Damion Johnson. In March of 2007 the L-rd allowed Elder Ridgley to start his own Financial Planning Business called "Destiny Agility Group, Inc." He believes that G-d is using him in this hour as an end-time Prophet. His purpose is to minister the Body of Christ out of "Captivity into Liberty" and from a place of "Religion to Relationship" into a dimension of true worship and intimacy so that we can experience the true healing and delivering power of the True G-d.
