Marvin James is a noted honorary, diligent, and respected public relations specialist, adjutant, and assistant in the country. He was born on August 28, 1987 to Bishop Rodney D. James and First Lady Michele James of Covenant Life Church and Ministries. Marvin's parents and grandparents had destined Marvin to be of greatness. Bishop Marvin James and State Supervisor Dorthy James, of the Calvary Church of God in Christ, gave Marvin his first shot at directing and planning. Since then, everything else has been history. Growing up, Marvin was introduced to all the arts from voice to theater and instrumental. Attending the Sudbrook School for the Arts and Carver Center for the Arts and Technology, he fell in love with theater, directing, and planning. It was in high school that Marvin accepted his call to be a Praise and Worship Leader for C.L.C.M. Through his faithfulness, there he went to preside and do praise and worship all over the country. However, God was not done with him yet. After being promoted to Director of Logistics and Planning for Convenant Life Church and Ministries, he became a sought after name for planning events in Baltimore. He has since went on to recieve the title of being the Head Adjutant for Baltimore under the leadership of the Chief Adjutant Milton Cox. Presently, Marvin is a student at Coppin State University studying Public Relations, the chief adjutant to Pastor Jonathan Patterson, and empolyed at C.L.C.M and Coppin State University.
