My name is Angelia Mason-Foster, Angie to all my friends. To know about me is to know from whence I've come. Let's put it this way, I've moved from the pit to the palace. All because of Jesus, I love the Lord. However, please make note that He who has begun a good work in me has not completed me yet. In other words I'm still a "work in progress". I am a wife, mother, grandmother and I also am an ordained elder, currently serving as Youth Pastor and Adjutant to the Apostle at the EL-Bethel Prayer Tabernacle under the auspicious leadership of my beloved and anointed Pastor, Apostle Joan B. Sanders. I am a people person who loves the saints of God with all my heart and yes Lord, Prayer, Youth and Teaching are my passion. That's why I'm known as the "Shepherd Mother" in the traditional sense of the "Old Church Mother" with a new twist... I have come from a rich heritage and legacy of saints that have loved, nurtured and poured "legitimate oil" into my life and spirit. Saved at the age of 18 years old my humble beginnings started as a young child in the Sunday School of Falls Road AME church (Rev. J.H. Cashen, Pastor) in the city of Baltimore. I began my preparation for ministry serving as a Youth Usher and Choir member at the Payne Memorial AME church after relocating to Anne Arundel County where I was raised. Upon the graduation of High School I moved my membership to the Providence Baptist Church (Rev. Marcus G. Wood, Pastor) Baltimore, Md. After having a life changing experience in birthing a child out of wedlock, I began my earnest and sincere spiritual journey in pursuit of the knowledge of God and relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Upon serving faithfully on the Usher board, Voices of Providence and the Young Adult Choir at Providence I heard the Lord calling me unto "Holiness". In pursuit of the desire to live a holy life unto the Lord I moved my membership at the urging of the Holy Spirit, to the St. John Alpha & Omega Pentecostal Church (the Late, Great Rt. Rev. Magdalene Phillips Pastor & Founder) in Baltimore. This was the most strategic move into my God called place. The Foundation of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, His church, sanctification and "PRAYER" was surely laid at this "great house". My formative years (12 to be exact) was at this house serving, growing and learning in all phases and areas of ministry too numerous to name. After that time of maturation and formative development once again the Lord transitioned me to the next place of growth and praise. It was under the anointed hand of a "great man of God" Bishop Larry E. Williams and the Mt. Nebo Holy Church that my prayer mantle and the ministry call was birthed. Once again after a tenure of 8 years(new beginnings) the Lord shook the very core of my obedience to Him and led me to the door of my destiny upon the meeting of my current and "PREDESTINED PASTOR" Her Grace, the Most Honorable and Notable, Apostle Joan B. Sanders the Establishmentarian and Senior Pastor of the EL-Bethel Prayer Tabernacle (she was well worth the wait) where I currently serve. All glory, all praise, all honor is due HIS name!
