About Me

Nanette Lee is one of the fastest-rising, young comediennes and on-air personalities on the entertainment circuit. In her native Dallas, she rapidly garnered reputations as queen of radio and queen of the citys comedy scene.
Before becoming the beloved radio personality, she earned her living working as a drug store clerk and selling childrens clothing at a department store. But Lee, who had always loved comedy and radio, decided to trade her day jobs for a chance at fame.
Nanettes career took a towering launch. Not only can the hot talent be heard on stage, but she can be heard on the radio as well. Lee is the co-host of DFW's No. 1 morning radio show, Skip Murphy & Company.
Over the years, Lee has received many awards, including the Improvs coveted *Funniest Female in Dallas* award in 1992. She was a finalist in the Zanies Comedy Competition Laff-Off in Nashville, and the Texas-based Funny Bones *Best of the West Competition.*
As her reputation grew, so did the demand for her talent. Lee began opening for some of the hottest comedy acts, performing with such big-named stars as George Wallace, Sinbad and Byron Allen. She has also worked with Kim Coles, Mark Curry, David Allen Grier, Shirley Hemphill, and Marsha Warfield.
A natural actress, Lee has performed on stage in Straight Talk and The Night I Fell in Love. Her television credits include appearances on Dallas ABC News, Showtime at the Apollo, HBOs Def Comedy Jam, and BETs Comic View.
