About Me

A natural born artist, Tracii has been very active in the music ministry for many years. Her smooth yet soulful voice sets her apart from many artists today. Add that to her powerful and inspiring message and its no wonder her solo debut is highly anticipated by many. Born and raised in Texas, Tracii’s childhood was filled with Gospel music. Both parents, the late Thomas and Martha Graves, were both professional Gospel singers and musicians, while most of her uncles, aunts, cousins, sisters, and brothers either sing or play an instrument. She has been around music all of her life so it’s not a surprise that family devotion was a musical affair with everybody singing and playing. Although Gospel music is backbone of her musical roots, she has been influenced by many genres of music such as R&B, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Blues, & Rock, all of which can be heard, in her dynamic vocal styling. Professionally she has 10 years under her belt. She started singing in church at a very young age and began performing professionally with a gospel choir in college. She sharpened her vocals as a member of Mark White and The Chosen Generation, later signing on as a background vocalist for the nationally acclaimed Gospel recording artists Pastor Darryl & LaTonya Blair. She has performed in many churches in and around the Dallas area where she now resides. Her performance history includes sharing the stage with artists such as: Kim Burrell, Myron Butler & Levi, Tonex, Erykah Badu, Madukwu Chinwah, Gaye Arbuckle-Sneed, MDM & Voices, Drea Randal, The Williams Brothers, and many more. She has also accompanied Dorinda Clark-Cole, Karen Clark-Sheard, and Tarralyn Ramsey on stage as a background vocalist. In 2005, Tracii was the featured soloist for Ford Motor Company’s East Coast Simply Greater radio & television campaign. She is currently the assistant Minister of Music at City Temple SDA church. Her newly released solo debut project entitled “This Is The Day” can be simply described in one word: PHENOMENAL. Produced entirely by Madukwu Chinwah, multi-platinum producer and Grammy Award winner for the 2002 R&B Song of the year, the two have taken all their musical roots and influences and packaged them nicely to birth an inspirational/Gospel album unlike any other. This inspirational, contemporary urban, brassy, up beat, R&B Soul styled project is about communicating a relevant message to today’s generation

If you must talk about me, Pray for me

It seems like to me that if a Sister is going through a very serious and tough time in her life, that the saints would rally around her, be there for her, and pray for her. &n...
