Norman, hailing from New Haven, CT, has been one of the best-kept secrets of our time. Norman has grown up listening to Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Duke Ellington, Aretha Franklin, and many other jazz greats. Norman is the youngest son of a gospel quartet singing father and an anointed preaching mother. Since graduating from Berkeley College, Norman has traveled extensively throughout the United States spreading the Gospel through song. Norman has been a featured artist for four years with The First Church of God National Convention, appearing with Anita Baker and the Winans as a background vocalist in St. Louis, MO; a three year section leader for the Victory in Praise Convention hosted by Pastor John P. Kee; and a featured participant in The Gospel Music Workshop of America.Norman has had the privilege of opening up and singing background for Pastor Shirley Caesar. In addition to singing background for Donald Lawrence, Ricky Dillard, Angie Stone, Kelly Price, he has opened up for Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Faith Evans, Pastor Hezekiah Walker, Cece Winans, Yolanda Adams, and Mary Mary. He was featured on Bobby Jones New Artist Showcase. He has accompanied Billy Preston and has done studio sessions with Chaka Khan. Norman is also the recipient of the Connecticut Gospel Music Award three years consecutively for Best Male Vocalist.Norman has a wonderful cd out right now....SCRIPTURES Chapters 1-7.
