I'm a photographer based in the South East of England. i first started taking snaps when i was about six years old using a tiny joke spy camera. I then moved onto using a Practika fully Manual SLR when i was about 10yrs old slowley building a collection of screw fitting lenses form jumble sales and second hand camera shops.
Photography was just a part of life for me and i never considered the idea of going Pro until i was at art college studying sculpture. it was through the process of recording the 3D objects onto a 2D medium and making them appear larger or smaller than they were. i found use of photography to change aspects of reality fasinating and began to study photography more seriously.
i bought a bunch of darkroom kit and enlargers and began processing black and white prints in the bathroom, selling many of them to friends who would come and visit.
the camera was once again a tool by my side as it had been when i was 6yrs old. i only went fully pro when i was 30 and have never looked back.
