Tanya Warren is based in rural Wairarapa in a small town, pop. 22,000, called Masterton, New Zealand.
Tanya's heroes include New Zealand's Idols and a number of USA and NZ based Country Artists.
No one can take credit for Tanya's increasing brilliance other than Tanya. While artists like Nik Carlson (of NZ Idol), Glyn Maclean and organisations like the Wairarapa Country Music Club have nurtured Tanya, she's paid her own dues and done the work.
At only 15 years of age Tanya recorded her first demo single to showcase the work of popular lyricist Murray Taylor . ...her very first effort in the studio.
Tanya doesn't come from a background of privalege and she's doing it the hard way. She supports local music organisation Wairarapa Country Music Club.

Tanya is a raw and rare talent in the New Zealand music landscape. She has finely honed musicianship skills as a vocalist, is learning to play instruments
and is being coached in Songwriting by award winning Songwriter, Composer and Musician Glyn Maclean. (Glyn has a relationship with EMI in UK and Music SUpervisor in Hollywood)
