About Me

I'll start off by saying Music is a release for me, as it probably is for most people.
I listen to a lot of different music as often as I am able. I guess you could call me well rounded, musically speaking of course. I will listen to pretty much anything at any time. I watch some TV (mostly sports stuff) but am starting to get away from watching so much Idiot Box and into doing outdoor type stuff. I would like to meet people that can help me explore the different sides of my personality. I have never been married, but have wanted to be in the past. I am catholic but do not really practice my religion. I am one of those elusive nice guys you hear about but seldom actually meet I find it easy to get along with most people but don't tend to form a lot of strong bonds. I am very capable of holding an intellegent conversation. Let me know if you would like to find out any other information or just talk a little, as I'm also a good listener

My Interests

I like music events but prefer big concerts to music in smoky bars, I will however, go and check anything out with the right person. I am interested in museums and things considered higher class but don't get to go very often. I love Sports and like to go to Sporting Events, I have been going to a lot of Braves games the last few years. I also like to go out to Movies.

I'd like to meet:

Joe Pistachio's Myspace Page
It would be fun to meet a nice women (who has good morals) with whom I can go out and spend some time with on occasion. I would call myself old fashioned, in the sense that I would prefer to pay the bill if I go out with someone of the fairer sex. I don't tend to make quick friends, I like to feel people out some first, and get to know them a little before forming strong bonds. I mostly tend towards movies or things of that sort of nature as the schedule allows. I like sporting events, and things outdoors tend to be fun for me as well. Basically I need to start getting out more. I would like to meet some cool people, (not immature people who think they are cool) not just ladies, with a balance of outgoingness and homebodiness.
I would also like to meet people in the music industry not to advance a career or anything, I just would like to meet people that are obviously more gifted at making music than I am. Maybe get back stage sometime and converse with the artists. I figure this would be a good way to meet some people with similar interests.

Music:

My musical taste are pretty eclectic. I pretty much listen to anything, Rock, Pop, Electronica, Techno, Country, Bluegrass, Rap, Hip-Hop, R&B. I don't care for most College Music. I also don't particularly care for Punk.
Some of my Favorites are Rush, The Dazz Band, Pete Rock & CL Smooth, Queen, The Gap Band, Atmosphere, AC/DC, Beyond Comprehension, Brooke White, Maroon 5, Aceyalone, Led Zeppelin, Dilated Peoples, Pink Floyd, The Whispers, The Eagles, KRS-1, Del McCoury Band, The Beatles, Marvin Gaye
Louis Armstrong, The many members of The Wu-Tang Family, Smokey Robinson, Honky, Al Green, Jurassic 5, 2-Pac, Biggie. I like a lot of DJ's. I like the different musical ideas each DJ has. I have a large Elvis Presley collection, Randy Travis, Jon Anderson the country artist and the one from Yes, and of Course Yes the rock group. Old Jazz & pretty much anything from the 50's and 60's

Movies:

Almost anything, but not to keen on teen romance movies
Some favorites are Princess Bride which could come off as kinda girly but it's really a great flick all around and not just for chicks.
Wagons East "John Candy Was The Man", Pretty Much anything with Jim Carrey "Fun With Dick and Jane was the Funniest Movie I have seen in a long time", Did not care much for Napolean Dynamite the first time I saw it, but it does kinda grow on you every time you see it.
Jackie Chan Flicks, Jet Li movies, Bruce Lee Movies, Man on Fire was great, Philadelphia was very moving, The Lord of the Rings Movies, The Star Wars Movies, The Adventures of Baron Munchausen, The Pink Panther movies, old and new. As you can probably tell I like funny movies quite a bit.

Television:

CSI shows, Law and Order Shows, House, Extreme Makover Home Edition, and various other shows. I am not really into reality TV but I guess Extreme Makover is Reality TV, and I kind of like Deal or No Deal. I also like animated stuff.
..

Books:

The Marilyn Encyclopedia, I am a Marilyn Monroe collector of sorts. Mopar Muscle, Tim Allen "I'm not really here". I also read the newspaper, and some various websites.

Heroes:

Superman, Batman, Flash, Auquaman.
Oh, sorry I was trying to be funny. I would have to say my DAD was a hero to me, even though he died when I was only 14 he put me in the mindset to do mechanic work and concentrate on working with my hands rather than my mind alone.
