Random Weirdness and Eclectic Coolness, or something...

About Me

Hey there. My name's Amber; I'm 23, and I live in Fairfield with my Mom, our 2 cats Chippie and Princess, and our parakeet Fred. I work at a Mobil On The Run gas station as a cashier, and I go to Housatonic Community College. I'm taking my basic gen. ed. classes- history, english, etc. plus music theory, intro to theater, and latin. In a year or so, I hope to transfer to WestConn, to study music teacher education. I'm a Pagan, I follow the Wiccan path to be specific. I've been actively practicing for about five or six years now. If you're curious at all about the Wiccan religion, and want to learn more, shoot me an e-mail, and I'll gladly help you out, either by chatting with you, or directing you to some really great books to read and people to meet. I'm going to be starting up a personal website soon, I hope, and when I do, I'll be able to go into greater detail about a lot of things. Anyway, back to me... My style of dress is pretty casual, but I lean towards the goth side more often than not, and I can't STAND preppies (note: this is referring to a certain attitude, not just anyone who shops at A+F). I tend to be kinda tom-boyish sometimes, but not always. I hate pink, but my fave color is purple. I've got a pretty warped sense of humor, or dirty, perverted, sick, however you want to put it, but that's just me. What is your connection with darkness? [pics]
Your connection with darkness is because of your interest in magic. You like spells, herbs, maybe even voodoo-dolls. As this fascinates you, you probably own books with these themes, or found Internet-sites where magic is the topic. You probably mean no harm with this, well perhaps to some. Most people who are aware of your interest mistakes you for a Satan-worshipper. You're misunderstood, but have your friends. You probably are a wiccan or something related to it, and are interested in mother nature, souls and spirits. You prefer the forrest(or park) before the city. Remember, all can't always understand.

My Interests

Let's see, I'm into so much stuff, this might take a while... I love almost anything from the 80's, especially My Little Ponies; I have a collection, so far it's around 30. I also collect anything with dragons on it, from posters to figurines to incense burners. Music is my life, but I'll go into more detail in that section. I like comics, especially X-Men. My favorites are Wolverine (mmm...) and Rogue. I also have a few Tank Girl comics, they're really cool. Anyone remember that movie? Another HUGE interest of mine is costuming. My mom always made my Halloween costumes for me, and she taught me to sew, and I've been doing it myself since middle school. I also make costumes for Renaissance Faires - another love of mine - and I'll be making my first anime cosplay costume this summer/fall. I have a huge list of costumes to make eventually, and every now and then I add another. That brings me to another thing I'm into - anime. My favorite anime is Naruto, b/c he reminds me a lot of a CERTAIN SOMEONE - ahem - you know who you are, lol. My first anime costume is actually of a character from that anime - Hyuga Hinata. I see alot of myself in her, too. I'm also a gamer at heart, even if I don't really get to play too much, due to a lack of consoles. I have a Sega Genesis now, and I'm starting to get more games for it, mostly from ebay. Trust me, if I could afford it, I'd have every system ever made. As I mentioned before, I'm kinda goth-inclined, and there are a few things that that lead to. I have a severe attatchment to vampires - they so sexy! Also, in the bedroom department, I occasionally enjoy certain :ahem: darker activities. Nothing dangerous, don't worry, but let me say this - when used correctly, pain can be a HELL of a turn-on. =D Um, I guess that's it, except for music n movies n stuff, but they have their own spaces for them.

I'd like to meet:

What cool awesome creature thingy r u? ( cool pictures)
You are a Dragon! You are firy and passionate, being a dragon. You don't open up to many people, but when you do, they love you for your intelligence, your love of all things poetic(music included), and your way of caring for everyone. You best feature is your beauty, not only of the body, but the mind and spirit too. Being a dragon, your faults tend to be you temper, that when fired up could hurt those you love. All around, you are an amazing emotional person with a burning desire to be the best you can be!

Socially Smart

As a socially smart person, you are best with others in real-life situations. This type of intelligence is closely linked to being 'street smart.' Theories and such are not much concern: the things that matter tend to be those which you can see, feel, touch - what you can really experience. This knowledge comes to you both out of a natural knowledge, as well as learning from the situations you find yourself in.

I'd love to make some friends who are into the same stuff as me. I'm not looking for a boyfriend or girlfriend though, so if that's all you're after, you're at the wrong place, buddy. I'm happy to talk to anyone about any of the stuff I'm into, or even better, if there's something new you think I'd like. I love when people turn me on to new stuff, that's how we learn best. I'm not really judgemental, as long as you're a decent person. I'd especially love to meet other pagans, and cosplayers, so we can share ideas. Other than that, it's all good, really. Got something to teach me, or a joke to share, or a record to spin? Let me have it!
