It's been a hard week, and finally you head to your favourite nightspot for some much earned relaxation and sheer escapism the only way you know how.

The stage lights go dim, the crowd murmurs, a scuttle of last minute footsteps, the floor starts to rumble the vibration of sound and air harmonizing in a wicked dance of brutal beauty. The lights fade up and before you are 4 girls who are ready to rock!
Feracia (pronounced fur-ray-sha) hail from Melton in Victoria's west formed in 1998 by Julz with the urge to write great songs, beat the crap out of her guitar; and be a RockStar!
Feracia have had many obstacle's and trials over the years, and to date the only thing that has ever held Feracia back was a undedicated line up, but now here in 2006 Feracia are back in full vengeance with an - all grrrl, all attitude line up ready to inflict your thoughts and show you that there is such a thing as "beautiful rain"
A 4 piece act of varied musical styles and tastes fuels Feracia, a clash of unique styles with influences from Alternative Grunge, Doom Metal, and punk-rock have created a unique fusion of sound.
Some have described them as a power driven Nirvana style grunge filled fantasy, with a touch of Garbage and Jack Off Jill, thrown into an exotic tangle then twisted and manipulated with the hard rock/ metal demons of Korn, Disturbed and Zombie.
However you class them; Feracia are a unique blend and ready to entertain you, with sometimes cruel and sometimes girly vocals delivered with sheer passion by Julz. Making statements with effective dynamics, powerful riffs and moody vocals - Julz is definally the "rock chick" of the band!
A solid and bold bass line held with pure style by Serena, and a beat and rhythm that only Renee on drums can master. Then to finish it all off drizzle a full atmospheric blend of Jenny's keyboards, offering you a musical smorgasbord that holds no bounds.
Feracia have already built up an amazing and dedicated fan base and throughout there years have managed to play with some of the cream of Australian rock, such as Magic Dirt, Area 7, The John Butler Trio, The Whitlams, Plunjer and Moler
