DJ COCOAMy passion for music first ignited in the early 80's when i bought my first vinyl record: London Calling. From punk to reggae,as Bob Marley said , the way is short and i played my first dj set at Rototom, the hottest reggae dance floor in Northern Italy. Keen of computing, very soon i moved to the electronic vibes of the drum'n'bass. The parties of the Jungle Fever Kru, of which i was one of the founders, became shortly legendary and ruled the local scene for 2 seasons in a row. But time was ripe, the off beat riddim changes into straight and minimal beats,and the sounds turned both more sophisticated and rarefied. I became a frequent caller at Berlin's clubs and while i certainly was influenced by this experience, i never gave up, and i will not, my typical style, minimal and aggressive at the same time. I destroyed many needles and challenged the sound systems of clubs everywhere in Italy and Europe, while maintaining a strong preference for the smoky and small underground clubs.
