TOSHIYUKI YASUDA
Japanese musician, composer, arranger, producer based on electronic music. Sings Brazilian music as a robot 'ROBO*BRAZILEIRA'. Born in 1973.3.28. From Takarazuka-shi, Hyogo, JP. Graduated in civil engineering at Ritsumeikan.
Begun Fantastic Plastic Machine in 1994 at a college. After dealing with many projects, -Pizzicato Five, Towa Tei (ex Deee Lite), and Combustible Edison and etc., a debut album of F.P.M. in 1997 was to be the last work in the unit.
Then, while creating solo works and composing for various compilations as an artist, composing for other artists (Isabelle Antena, Mika Nakashima, Bonnie Pink, Kirinji…) / advertisement / movies (Hiroyuki Nakano, Kishin Shinoyama...) / performance as a producer. Recently, collaborating with Towa Tei.
MEGADOLLY is the label established by Toshiyuki Yasuda in 2003, for releasing his own idea nimbly. Sold in Japan and France.
Currently the newest one is the original compilation album, named ' -MONOPHONIC-ENSEMBLE- ' with a concept of 'MONO' including a tune of a fictitious unit of all the members. (released on 2006.9.23) Towa Tei, Takeo Toyama, The Firefly Clan, Mr. Velocity (Kazuhiko Maeda+Toshiyuki Yasuda), Morgan Fisher, Kazuhisa Uchihashi, Pecombo, Meu Coracao, snoweffect, Toshiyuki Yasuda, Satoru Wono, Si Begg, Akira Yamasaki, Bajune Tobeta, -Monophonic-Ensemble- (the fictitious unit) participated.
Performed at 'Les Siestes Electroniques' in Toulouse, France on summer of 2006 (with Chicks on speed/Opiate/Schneider TM...), 'sonarsound tokyo' on autumn of 2006, Apple stores periodically.
