About Me

The Stockholm-based band chief was started in 2004 by Tomas Magnusson, Tommy Wassgren, Johan Sundin and Magnus WikstrÃ¶m. The band members are originally old friends from Östersund (in northen Sweden) and have played together for many years in other bands. The band is currently recording a new EP.

Influences: Black Crowes, Ryan Adams, Popsicle, Dolly Parton, Richie Sambora, Steve Earle, Lou Reed
Sounds Like: Chief mainly plays pop music with strong rock influences. The band members have quite different taste in music so therefore parts of Dolly, Marit Bergman, Kenny as well as Bruce, Richie and The Hives is combined and forms the chief sound.
