May 10, 2006, Los Angeles, CA - Millions of fans around the world will soon have a chance to hear a unique Rock n Roll album from Adrienne Frantz, the scheming, yet vulnerable 'Amber Moore' on The Bold & the Beautiful (Bold, Top Models, Glamour, Beautiful, Poder y Belleza), While taking a break from the busy shooting schedule of one of the worlds most popular TV programs, Adrienne is currently recording her first album, ANOMALY, for Wrong Records with Producer Daniel Wise (Scissor Sisters, My Chemical Romance, Maceo Parker). She is recording at The Shed , a penthouse studio located in the heart of New York City, which has been a home for artists ranging from John Mayer to Rod Stewart to The Secret Machines. ANOMALY will be released worldwide this spring, and is available for preorder on the Wrong Records website.
Those who follow Bold have seen the talented actress's singing voice featured many times on the show, both as Amber Moore and Ambers twin sister, rock n roll singer April Knight. What fans probably dont know is that Adrienne has been taking voice lessons since soon after learning to walk and has never abandoned her dream of having a successful singing career to go along with her acting work. She has even built her own recording studio in the basement of her Hollywood Hills home.
The Emmy winner has been making great use of her time away from the Bold set, writing songs for the album while recently filming two movies: as one of seven teens who become the victims of horrific supernatural murders in Matt Flynns wild teen horror flick Hack; and Robin Christians dramatic comedy Angst in which Adrienne plays the love interest of Veronica Mars Michael Muhney. Her other film credits include Gus Van Zants Speedway Junky, Jimmy Zip, and The Audition (with SNLs Tim Meadows) a short film that is included with all new Samsung mobile phones sold in Europe. Her other roles include a recent guest-star spot on That 70s Show, voice work in the animated The Rugrats and The Wild Thornberrys, the lead role in Ed Gein a new Lions Gate film, and another lead role in her new movie Donna on Demand.
Adrienne grew up in Mount Clemens, Michigan. After her second year of high school, only sixteen years old, Adrienne promptly packed her bags and headed off to New York City in search of her dreams -- and she never looked back. She completed her studies in Medford New Jersey, at the same time continuing with her acting and voice training in New York City. Then, in the middle of her freshman year at New York Citys Marymount College, Adrienne won the role of Tiffany on Aaron Spellings Sunset Beach and came to Los Angeles for what turned out to be a brief stint on NBCs short-lived soap opera. Adrienne soon landed the plum part of the devious, yet well meaning, Amber on The Bold & the Beautiful, airing daily around the globe for loyal fans in over 100 countries. And currently carried the popular character over to The Young And The Restless.
