Live music, traveling, being in front of the camera, boats, rollerskating, snorkeling, hiking, working out, reading, UFC, red wine. I love the smell of Oregon after it rains, cooking large feasts, watching my daughter play sports, the excitement of true love, dinner and a movie at home with my boyfriend, photography, beautiful lingerie, little babies, Marc Jacobs or Loboutin shoes, motorcycle shows, shave ice on the North Shore, filet mignon medium rare, dirty ketel martinis, a David Lynch film shared with a true fan, Oregon blackberries straight from the vine, finding a good deal at a thrift store, being a shoulder to cry on, my naturally curly hair after a day at the beach, snuggling, See's chocolate
Funny people, passionate people, genuine people. Straight-forwardness, positivity. Do not try to engage me with juvenile drama shit, I am not down. No thank you to people with jealousy and insecurity issues. Sorry, I know there are alot of you out there I am just past it at this point.
God damn it, I lost my music section... and it was BIG. I love music, all types.
Most recently I enjoyed No Country For Old Men and Once... always love any David Lynch. Scarface, Mulholland Drive, The Shining, Donnie Darko, Lost in Translation, Naked Lunch, Barfly, Cry Baby, Unfaithful, Secretary, Repo Man, The Godfather (all three but especially the second), American Gangster, the Original Star Wars trilogy, True Romance, Moonstruck, Wild at Heart, Heathers, Valley Girl, Blue Velvet, Natural Born Killers, American Psycho, Dangerous Liaisons. Usually more independent, less mainstream. I have to admit I love Woody Allen... sorry. Comedies I like are Napoleon Dynamite, Team America, Raising Arizona, Superbad and Borat. And I love the old standards: the Goonies and Labrynth, Grease, The Princess Bride, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun and Sixteen Candles... movies that I have passed down to Bella.
Bukowski, David Sedaris, Anais Nin, Lynda Barry (Cruddy is my favorite book). I reread Deepak Chopra and Thic Nhat Han books all of the time when I need to put my life into perspective. Love Creating Affluence, The Secret, Autobioigraphy of a Yogi, Siddhartha, The Secret and The Four Agreements. Some novels I liked were The Red Tent, Snowflower and the Secreet Fan, Memoirs of a Geisha and of course Gone With the Wind... I read it three times. I also enjoy looking at International fashion magazines and art/photography books.
