About Me

I'm an artist,... whatever that means. I live to create & recreate, and I always have paint under my fingernails.... I'm a Los Angeles native, who now resides in Eugene, Oregon. I'm in a state of semi-retirement after a short stint as a soap-opera actress, and then a lengthy career at Nickelodeon Animation, ... now I make my living slinging drinks, and I wouldn't change a thing.

My Interests

Art, painting, sculpting, gardening, yoga, swimming, music, wine & good friends. My two chihuahuas "Chico" & "Star-Booty", and my cat "Wesley Snipes". Most recently interested in detoxing & living the rest of my life without smoking cigarettes.

Too many interests to list,... but to name but a few.....anything by Radiohead, Flamenco & Tango music, 'Bolero' by Ravel, 'The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking' by Roger Waters from start to finish (while drinking a full bodied red), French & Italian Jazz, Northwest Hip-Hop, Led Zeppelin, Nick Drake, Beethoven, Cat Stevens, Massive Attack, Patsy Cline, Nina Simone, Kate Bush, Gary Neuman, one word - BOWIE, .... I could go on & on,.... Frankly, ... it depends on what I'm painting.

Movies:

Harold & Maude, Fellini's 8-1/2 (Best movie EVER); The first 3 Star Wars Movies (non of that CG crap!), American Beauty, The Usual Suspects, All About Eve, Bagdad Cafe, Foreign Films, Anything by the Coen Brothers,The Graduate, Suicide Kings, Pulp Fiction, Friends With Money, Being There, and anything directed by Stanley Kubrick, throw in the original Disney's Jungle Book, some good Russian Animation, ....shake & strain.

Television:

Just about any series on HBO (love, Love LOVE 'In Treatment'), Arrested Development, Family Guy, Strangers with Candy, The Office (British & American), The Newsroom (Canada), Weeds, Nip/Tuck (it's horrible,... I know), ..... and early morning re-runs of Cheers.

Books:

Currently reading "Ishmael", and books on running an Art Gallery.
