All Started In 1998, when Crystal Method & DJ Taylor performed in the United DJ of America North America Tour in San Francisco inspired Bone to become a DJ himself. Learning everything on his own, his early sound was inspired by Jerry Bonham, Christopher Lawrence, DJ Taylor, Mars & Mystre. In his early year as a DJ, under pseudonym “Lunakid”, Bone has played along side the legendary Bad Boy Bill at Norfolk, Virginia In 1999. In 2000, he explored house music more when he organized a monthly event at Rawhide in San Francisco. The same year he headlined a San Bernardino rave. A big accomplishment for a young new DJ. In 2001, he decided to come back home to Jakarta. Held a residency at now defunct The Gate for almost a year in 2003, he then signed by Spinach Records which gives him bigger opportunity to grow his talent and career. Ever since he has played in many major clubs such as Embassy, Co2/ Wonderbar, X2, Vertigo, Fluid, Retro, Centro, Stadium, Double Six, Dejavu and many Outdoor/Rave events held in major cities in Indonesia. He also has shared decks with the likes of Christopher Lawrence, Fedde Le Grand, Fred NUMF, James Holden, Joachim Garraud, Richard Dinsdale, Harry Lemon, Jean Claude Ades, Norman Jay, Chris Gainer, Slacker, Gabriel & Dresden, John 00 Flemming, DJ Preach, Fitalic, Riri, Anton, Naro, Romy, Bobby & Agoose to name a few. Bone’s undeniable talent brought him to the final of Heineken Thirst 2005 that has stamped his presence in the Jakarta’s expanding dance scene. His ever growing musical style and techniques as well as his passion for dance music always bring a solid performance wherever and whenever he played that make him one of the favorite DJ in Indonesia today. In early 2007 he, along with DJ Riri, have released “Armada” mixed CD compilation which is a big success in the market. Bone has also been voted as Electro DJ Of The Year at Ravelex Electronic Dance Music Awards (REDMA) 2007.
