Giri Indrata has been involved in the music scene since 1994,as vocalist in a band called 'PULAU BIRU JAMMIN'. Grunge,alternative,and rock'n'roll music are the sounds they mainly play. In the year 2004, he joined another pop rock band called 'TBK'. With this band, they released one album. Giri had a big interest in the dance music scene,which brought him to join Spinach records and immediately worked with them in their "2005 SOUTHWAY TOUR"" as their MC.
His performance as an MC, caught DJ Riri's interest to collaborate with Giri as his featured VOCALIST /MC /CO-PRODUCER, in his upcoming album. The album "DJ RIRI'S STEREO MESTICA" was released in the year 2006. "Fadeaway" which is one of the tracks of the album, won an Indonesian "2006 AMI AWARDS"for the' BEST DANCE TRACK' category. They achieved another award in the same year , "ALBUM OF THE YEAR ,REDMA AWARD" and "paranoia award" nominees for MC OF THE YEAR 2007"Giri has also been performing with DJ RIRI FEAT GIRI(live p.a),SPINACH LIVE,and RRT nulife collaborating with Iso, Fla"TOFU", Thomas "GIGI", and Rejoz. He has been performing with international dj's such as: fedde legrand(netherland),harry lemon(netherland),richard dinsdale(uk), joey negro (uk), preach (canada), marcella (netherland) and at many clubs: espanda (kualalumpur), vertigo, embassy, centro, mistere, x2, retro, wonderbar, 9clouds, score, k7, planet hollywood (jakarta), embassy, amnesia, hyogen, amare, studio east (bandung), caesar, boshe, hugos (jogja), ep plaza (semarang), cheers (purwokerto), urban black junction rave at mcc, score (manado), colors (makasar), de'one (pontianak), sphinx (banjarmasin),
