Deciding to pick up his first mic at the age of 12 YS has been perfecting his craft and expanding his range ever since. While early in his career YS went at the task of building his career by himself, it was when he met up with super producer Freq Beatz that both their careers reached new heights.
While students at Lafayette High in St. Louis Missouri the producer and the lyricist built a chemistry that would culminate in an explosion of quality Hip Hop. They tinkered with their sounds and used the diverse Lafayette student body as the Guiney pigs for their rap experiments. Pretty soon they had a student body filled with different races, creeds, and colors all agreeing that their music was the hottest around!
After a long road of growing lyrically and personally YS feels he is ready to challenge any rapper walking. Combining the ability to write, freestyle, battle rap, and the range to speak about personal experiences to club jams YS is one of the most talented artists to come out of St. Louis rap hotbed Walnut Park. Along with him is his equally talented crew known as the DOUBLE B’S. Yung City, Young Money, Drama, KD da Wildcard and Dizzy round out a talented and deep crew of proven lyricists and producers.
Due to his father, brothers, and sister’s influence YS has been given the confidence and skills to not only make himself better, but make others better artists as well. He is available for just about every sort of service from ghost writing, to being featured on a track and his professionalism and superiority has been raved about by all who has worked with him.
