About Me

Anton BrownDJ "Anton"(The Elite) can best be described as confident, smart, inventive, creative, and hard working when it comes to the art of remixing. He has positioned himself as one of the most promising African-American Hip-Hop jocks representing the Chicago urban scene. As a native of Chicago, DJ Anton quickly became aware of the many opportunities available to him in Chicago.Anton is one of many up and coming DJ’s waiting to be unleashed on the world. Anton feels as if he was born with a needle in his hand. Anton’s decision to venture into the DJ mix world was actually a suggestion from a close friend DJ Corey, who saw his potential. From his first assignment, which happened to be with Chi-One’ s Entertainment in 1998, he realized the opportunities were absolutely endless. His hard work and winning persona have landed him gigs at some of the most progressive Chicago club venues: Side Car Cafe, The Biology Bar, Cafe Allure, The Prop House, Intas, Aqua, Voyeur, Chromium, Lan’s Sushi and Lobster Bar, The Hidden Lounge,Capiche, Club Reunion, The Shadow Bar, Rumba, The Presidential Towers, The Congress Hotel, What's Lounge and Marysols. He has worked along side the promoters Chi-One’s Entertainment Dunn Ruff Entertainment, First Fridays Danielle Carr, Xtreme Ent, Two Fingers Ent., Maximillon Ent., Pro-Style, Big Figga, Big-Up Ent.,The Rails Marketing Group and worked with producers of the Ruff Ryder’s and WuTang album release parties and The Black Women’s Expo after party. He also was one of the top five Dj’s to be selected to participate in WGCI’s DJ contest, which was hosted by Ramon ski Love. Anton feels the entertainment business has helped him to be very grounded in his personal beliefs and the reality of his goals. At this point Anton believes nothing can deter him from pursuing his dreams and endeavors. Mixing is in his blood. I would like to send a special shout out and respect to my idols, DJ’s, Steve Maestro, Pharris Thomas, Mike Luv, Mustafa Rocks, and the Boolu Master. These jocks really made an impression on my style and form and they know how to move a dance floor.found this music layout at HOT FreeLayouts.com :: MyHotComments
