Broken Vinyl Records Malaysian based, independent record label. Founded in January 2005 by Ian Sjahrial and a few people who share the same vision and passion for music to get things started.
Vision: Striving to change for the better in the independent music scenes around Asia by uniting them under one roof (Broken Vinyl Records) and to boost the market for independent music around Asia and to the other parts of the world. We are basically a help us to help you record label. Together we can achieve more than any one of us can do alone.
Mission: is to expose/highlight great talented independent bands within our Asian region and other parts of the world. Bands get a chance to widen their perspective on music from neighboring countries and create good opportunity for bands to tour neighboring countries and other parts of the world.
DEMO SUBMISSIONS
Broken Vinyl Records are currently accepting press kits/demos. If you are interested in sending us a press kit/demo, please include:
- Band biography
- A promotional photo
- Any past history of any recording or touring experiences your band may have.
Extras are always a plus. Send in video's, past recordings, show reviews and as much press as possible would help a lot as well. Please include contact information. Our taste in music varies extremely. We would never limit ourselves to a specific genre, so all types of music is welcomed. Our headquarters is located in Sunway Damansara. Petaling Jaya(msia). We will get back to you when we can. Please do not email us back asking if we got your demo or if we liked it. We are not here to criticize your band. We are here to put out music we enjoy. If we liked it, trust us youll know. Any material sent to Broken Vinyl Records becomes property of BVR and will not be sent back.
