Programmateur officiel des plages sonores de Radio Campus Toulouse de 1989 à 1995, c'est lui qui donne à cette radio le son urbain, groovy et soulful qu'on lui connaitra pendant quelques années. Ouifonk devient deejay en écoutant les premiers soubresauts du hip hop à la fin des années 80 (émission Colours de1988 à 1992). Sensible à la soul, au jazz, à la funk et au dub, il prolonge ses inspirations en s'ouvrantsuccessivement à la drum and bass, au son garage anglais, au broken beat ou plus généralement à tous les courantsles plus innovants et créatifs du groove sous toutes ses formes. On ne compte plus le nombre d'heures d'émissions deradio diffusées sur les ondes et internet (dont certaines restent des modèles en France et même au delà desfrontières - Ridimwize, Nuforms, B-sides). Activiste farouche de la bonne musique sans concession depuis denombreuses années, il s'axe aujourd'hui sur la production avec des aspirations hip hop, deep, broken et detroit.
