It just feels like having a walk downtown in a modern metropoly, drinking your favourite cocktail in the lounge bar of a skyscraper that touches the clouds; chilling in the lounge of an airport, waiting for the gates to be opened, taking the bus that takes you to the airplane. It also feels like being on a wet shore, in a warm summer night. And it obviously feels like making beats in your small apartment somewhere in Rome, near downtown. That's what D.Black's music tries to express. Drum beats, Rhodes tunes, flutes, saxes, trumpets, jazzy guitars, smooth pads, upright basses, xylophones, vibraphones, and all sorts of percussions, from bongos to shakers. Laidback tunes meet the velocity of those warm and fast drum beats, with filtered hi-hats and crusty hip-hop style snares and deep house style kicks. Lounge, Nu-Jazz, Deep House...and beyond. Airport Chillin' is the result of a 1 year hard work, and it reaches higher levels in D.Black's experience in Lounge music. This young eclectic producer (16 years old) loves music, technologies, lifestyles, new trends, fashion, culture, phylosophy and that's what, perhaps, makes his music so chilling and sophisticated. The place where he lives can be considered one of his most important influences. Born only 16 years ago in Rome, D.Black grew up in a neighborhood, almost considered a ghetto till about 5 years ago, that is now the leading zone of the lounge music and culture scene of the Italian capital
