About Me

Been DJing since 1986. Took some time off the tables to get married and then divorced (7 years ago). Back in the game in 2000. Hooked up with Kevin Scott in Seattle at a wedding, we were both guests. I did a lot of mobile stuff back in the 80's and 90's:private parties, frat parties, school dances, and weddings. I also had a sound re-enforcement company that had some great gigs on the weekends. I have been a club DJ for 6 years. All Respect to Kevin Scott for taking the time to teach me, and to trust me. It is hard to find friends like this. I am still learning new things every week. Serato has elevated my skills to the next level. I am now creating, remixing, producing, re-working tracks to play in the club. I now have some DJ Whitematic exclusive tracks. My latest exclusives are the Bathroom Breaks. The idea was to make short 10 minute mixes that a DJ could throw on to take a Bathroom Break. Hit me up if you want a copy of them or have an idea for a new one. In the world of Serato and the 4 hour DJ set they might come in handy.

Influences: I am influenced everytime I hear another DJ play. They make me want to practice more, edit/produce more, and try and elevate my game. Mad Respect to DJ Kevin Scott, DJ AM, Kev e Kev, Warren Peace and Mr. Bob, DJ Homicide, DJ Vice, DJ StoneRokk, DJ 5ive, DJ Graham Funke, DJ OB-One, DJ Spider and DJ Steve1der, DJ Albert, DJ Edski, DJ Dig Dug, DJ Rhettmatic, DJ Spryte, DJ Dini, and All the homies... I have Played in and around The OC for 7 years at various spots: LANDMARK in Corona Del Mar, OCEAN AVE. BREWERY in Laguna Beach, OFF CAMPUS PUB in Fullerton, and OSUSHI in Brea. Sounds Like: I sound like a DJ who knows how to read a crowd, knows his records, knows what works, can deliver a kick ass party, and a memorable night at the club. Classic Beat Mixer...32 in and 32 out over the chorus. I play some party breaks, classic and exclusives. I am a party rocker with 80's, Rock, Mashups, Electro/House, Reggae, Top 40, and Hip Hop. As an Opener/Closer: I am a great opening/closing DJ. I was schooled by the best and I know how to respect the headliner. I can rock a opening/closing set and never touch a track that the headliner has in their Prime Time Crates. As a Headliner: I have been a DJ for 20 years and been in the clubs for 5 years. I can play a multi-genre exclusive set any night of the week. I come prepared everytime to Kill em up in the spot. Book me and lets see what happens. Kids These Days
