Playing my drums, reading Catholic theology, working with youth, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, boxing, lifting weights, running, writing, swimming, watching movies and spending time with my sexy wife! I also love discussing/debating religion with others whose beliefs are different than mine.
(Ok, I know some of these people are dead but I will meet them someday) Jesus, ST. Ignatius Loyola, St. Thomas More, St. Thomas Beckett, Job, St. Nicholaus, St. Francis of Assisi, St. Benedict, Mother Teresa, Neil Peart, Terry Bozzio, Rocky Marciano, Jim Steinman, and Celine Dion so I can get her autograph for my wife.
Anything from the 80's. Also, Rush, The Ramones (all old school punk), Frank Zappa, Old school metal, no country unless it is 'old' country like Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, etc. I'm also a big fan of Jim Steinman's songwriting and Meatloaf. If that makes me a geek, fine. I also enjoy Piano Classics, Celtic music, Gregorian Chants, Latin grooves, reggae, classic rock, pop rock, some new punk and anything that makes me feel good. Yeah, that about covers it.
My Favorite movie of all time is "A Man for All Seasons". I'm also a big fan of the Rocky Movies. Other random favorites include; Lean on Me, Amistad, The Karate Kid, Hoosiers, Passion of the Christ, Finding Forrester, Scent of a Woman, ... and comedies like The Pink Panther movies...you know, serious stuff like that.
Don't watch much tv but I do have alot of old tv shows on dvd. My two favorites are Magnum P.I. and Columbo. In Fact, I believe that Magnum P.I. was the greatest TV show of all time.
Catholic Theology (especially writings of early church fathers), the Bible (the complete "catholic" Bible), writings of St. Thomas More, writings of St. Thomas Aquinas, Catholic History books (especially anything by Hilaire Belloc) and Catholic apologetics books. I also enjoy Literary classics, Mark Twain, Charles Dickens, Poe, Doyle, etc. And finally I enjoy the writings of Ray Bradbury and Michael Chrichton.
Jesus, St. Thomas More, St. Thomas Beckett, Job, St. Nicholaus, St. Francis of Assisi, St. Ignatius of Loyola, St. Benedict, Mother Teresa; also Neil Peart, Terry Bozzio, Rocky Marciano, "Marvelous" Marvin Hagler and last but certainly not least, My Late Grandpa Pete Espil, after whom I am named. May he rest in Peace.
