In Barbados for the Cricket World Cup!

About Me

I'm a Perth girl who's moved around a bit. I lived in Sydney for a while before moving to Melbourne in November 2005. I work as a journalist/news reader for 3AW in Melbourne.

I LIKE: spearmint milkshakes, when things are perfect, sleeping in, hugs, New York City, hot baths, watching Michael Hussey batting on a sunny day at the WACA, seeing my sister for the first time whenever I come home to Perth, travelling, covering a breaking news story.

I DISLIKE: surprises, waiting for media conferences to start, apostrophe abuse, chequebook journalism, war, politicians failing to answer the question.

I'd like to meet:

On MySpace: I'd like to get to know fellow journos, sports lovers , Melbourne girls in their 20s (looking to make some new friends - have left all my female friends in Perth). If you want to add me as a friend, please be polite and send me a message first.

I do not want to hear from misogynists, inarticulate people, racists, or Shane Warne fans.

This is going to sound strange for a MySpace profile, but if you decide to write to me please write properly! So use words that actually exist, punctuation, correct spelling and grammar etc. Am I not worth the extra keystrokes?
