Mostly dead people or cartoon characters. Old people and children are a constantly profound influence on me - they give us context: they are the past and the future which helps us gain our identity in the present. I once sat opposite Brian Sewell on the tube - and really regret hesitating to talk to him - he was someone who I used to find offensive, but in recent years have grown to respect the man. I'm pretty certain I won't get to meet any cartoon characters. As for some of the people no longer treading the green pastures of earth - I may get to meet them some day in eternity.
